Call for Speakers: "I've Got What in My Library? Caring for Non-Traditional Materials"

Amigos is currently looking for speakers for our April 3 online conference focusing on caring for non-traditional materials.

Today, libraries and archives are responsible for taking care of various materials. It's not just books or paper and digital files, but also photos, art, textiles, and even taxidermy animals. Most library and archives professionals haven’t had the training to work with any of these materials.

Do you know how to take care of textiles? Art? Rubber? Leather? Memorabilia? If so, consider submitting a proposal for our next online conference "I've Got What in My Library? Caring for Non-Traditional Materials".

Online events eliminate your travel time by allowing you to present from the comfort of your office. Also, don’t worry if you’ve never presented online; it’s easy and we are happy to train you.

If you can speak on one of the topics or have another idea in mind, please submit your proposal by clicking here. The deadline for proposals is February 10.

For more information about this conference, contact Gina Minks, minks@amigos.org or 800-843-8482, ext. 2825.
