"What's New with the Pew Internet & American Life Project" is scheduled for August 18 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. CDT. Join E-book Pilot Project Manager and Continuing Education Librarian Christine Peterson for this hour-long look at the latest data from the Pew Research Center. Pew publishes a considerable amount of data about all aspects of life and particularly how the internet affects us. In this session, Christine will discuss Pew data covering the last six months. "Trans-Amigos Express Informational Webinar" is scheduled for September 8 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. CDT. Join Trans-Amigos Express Manager Rae Cheney for this hour-long update covering the changes that have taken place in the last year, including new connections and a change in scanning software. Additionally, the annual survey and GPS study will be reviewed. Time will be allotted for questions as well as discussions among participants. Register on the Amigos website.
