Amigos Members to Present Sessions at CONTENTdm Online Conference

Don't miss our February 12 online conference, "Using CONTENTdm: An Amigos Online Conference". The conference features two concurrent sessions throughout the day. We are pleased that several of the sessions will be presented by the following Amigos Members:

  • Jeanette Sewell, Houston Public Library, will discuss unique processes created by HPL to create accurate digital representations of postcard and glass plate negative collections.
  • Anne Price and Kathy Hardin, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, will describe their CONTENTdm journey, including successes and failures.
  • Cindy Boeke, Southern Methodist University, will discuss a survey SMU has developed that helps them better understand outcomes for those that license their objects.
  • Adam Northam and Sean Anderson, Texas A&M-Commerce, will describe their use of Popcorn.js to provide time-based interactive media for their World War II collection.

In addition to these interesting and informative sessions, the closing keynote session will be presented by Shane Huddleston, CONTENTdm Product Manager. He will provide us an update on the software, details on the upcoming release, and a review of the roadmap.

Remember, as a benefit of membership, Amigos members always attend our online conferences free of charge. Non-members should register by February 5 for Early Bird discount pricing. Check out the conference website for complete registration information, schedules, and session descriptions.
