Amigos Hitting the Road for Conferences in MO, OK, TX

Be sure to stop by the Amigos booth at the Texas Library Association's annual conference, April 14-17 in Austin, at the Oklahoma Library Association’s annual conference, April 29 to May 1 in Midwest City, and June 1-3 for the MOBIUS annual conference in Columbia, MO.

Consulting and Education Services Manager Arta Kabashi will present two programs later this month at the Texas Library Association's annual conference in Austin. Wednesday, April 15, at 1:00 p.m., she will participate in the panel presentation, "Distance Learning Collaborative Tools." Thursday, April 16, at 2:00 p.m., she will present "Innovative Uses of Technology and Social Media in Reference and Information."

Amigos E-book Project Manager and Continuing Education Librarian Christine Peterson will present two programs at TLA. Wednesday, April 15, at 4:00 p.m., Chris will present "Amigos eShelf: A Report from the Real World." Friday, April 17, at 9:00 a.m., she will present "EPUB3 & e-Books: What Do We Need to Know?"

Christine Peterson is scheduled to present programs at the Oklahoma conference. Peterson will be a co-presenter for "EBOOKS for Everyone – Choosing and Planning for Your Platform" on Wednesday, April 29, and will present "Building an E-book Platform" on Friday, May 1.

Also on Friday, May 1, Collections Care Specialist Carmen Cowick will present "Emergency Planning and Technology: How to Use Technology to Enhance Your Disaster Plan."
