REGISTER NOW for the Kansas Library Association-College & University Libraries (KLA-CULS) Spring Conference!

Join Danielle Dion, director of the De Paul Library at the University of Saint Mary, as she kicks off the April 27-28 KLA-CULS conference, Building the Future on Strong Foundations. Herbert G. Callison, Executive Director of Mainstream, Inc., will present the preconference session Grant Writing: A Small Group Workshop. Callison has over 30 years of grant writing experience with nonprofit organizations.

A bonus at the conference is the special exhibition, Education: The Mightiest Weapon. It highlights the activities of African American School Life before the landmark 1954 Brown v. Board U.S. Supreme Court decision and includes the 1951 Topeka et al. v. Topeka Board of Education Kansas District Court decision. It also features written and photographic materials from Kenneth Spencer Research Library’s African American Experience Collections.

The conference will be at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence, KS. For more details, including the full schedule and hotel information, please see the conference website.
