The papers of the late Diane Blair will be opened to researchers on Tuesday, March 9, at the University of Arkansas Libraries in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
To encourage development of library professionals working in Amigos member libraries, the Amigos Fellowship awards up to $7,500 each year for research, demonstration, or educational purposes. The application deadline for 2010 funding has been extended until April 12, 2010.
Diana C. Leyva was selected as the 2009 Border Regional Library Association (BRLA) Staff Member of the Year. She has been employed with the El Paso Public Library since 2000 and has been working at the Armijo Branch since 2006 where she serves as the Library Information Senior Specialist in charge of children’s programming and community outreach.
