Graphic Design Basics for Librarians
This course teaches the basic elements of design as well as the principles on how to use those elements. A demonstration of how to tie it all together using the user-friendly free web-based design program, Canva, to create remarkable print and electronic promotional materials will end the course.

- Understanding basic graphic design elements and principles.
- Applying graphic design elements and principles to print and electronic promotional materials
- Creating new print and electronic promotional materials using Canva

- Students will participate in class discussions and complete individual assignments.
- It is designed for individual participation; each individual must register.
