Introduction to Storytimes and Early Literacy Programming (cancelled)
Whether new to planning and facilitating storytimes or looking for new inspiration, this introduction provides the fundamentals of storytime and early literacy program planning. Discover ways to help caregivers and community partners foster a love of reading through engaging events and services and stay up to date with the latest trends and opportunities in library services specifically for ages 0 to 5.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the foundations of early literacy
- Discuss the library's role in family literacy
- Utilize planning tools for 0 to 5 programs
- Examine new trends in early literacy programs and services
