Libraries of every type and size are using their green spaces or partnering in community green spaces to provide programs and services about native plants, growing and cooking your own food and more. Join us to look at examples of libraries and gardening programs, services and partnerships. Learn about resources to grow your own library green space initiatives big and small for all ages.
Learning objectives for this session include:
- Identify the current role of community gardens and greens spaces with library
- Evaluate the success, challenges and opportunities of library gardening initiatives
- Develop steps to initiate and expand your library gardening initiative and partnerships
