Digital Media Librarian -- Lyon College -- Batesville, AR

Digital Media Librarian - Lyon College seeks a qualified librarian to maintain the libraries digital resources, manage the library's social media, and collaborate with constituencies across campus to provide assistance, support, and education about the library's resources. Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong communication and management skills, to work well both independently and collaboratively, and to use technology effectively to maintain accurate records and develop user-friendly reports. Responsibilities will also include providing access and maintenance of the library's licensed digital resources, cataloging digital titles, working with IT to ensure the reliability of the library's network, and supervising assigned work-study students.

Candidates must have an ALA accredited Master of Library Science degree, a working knowledge of electronic information resources and systems and their application to research and reference, demonstrated knowledge of various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), and support for the educational mission of Lyon College. Experience as an academic librarian, a second master's degree, and experience in the use of the OCLC WorldShare integrated library system is desirable.
