Registration is Open For "E-books in Libraries: An Update" Online Conference

Registration is now open for the November 16 online conference, "E-books in Libraries: An Update." Sign up for a day of exciting and informative programming.

In the morning, Saint Edwards University librarians Tina Buck and Sara Hills will present “A DDA Program Four Years Later: Evaluation and Sustainability.” They will discuss DDA as a collection-management tool, illustrating with use, cost, and collection data.

Amigos at NMLA Next Week

Amigos will participate in the New Mexico Library Association's annual conference, October 21-23 at the Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid North Hotel. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Amigos booth in the exhibit hall.

Keep your eyes on the Amigos website. Registration will soon be open for our November 16 online conference, "E-books in Libraries: An Update Online Conference." Topics will include Demand-Driven Acquisition, advantages of subscription models, "Re-Covering" the classics, and a panel discussing an open source e-reader app from the New York Public Library.
