Amigos Member Discount Services Continues Work in ConsortiaManager
Since transitioning to ConsortiaManager, Amigos Member Discount Services (MDS) staff members have diligently uploaded licensing information and subscription notes into the platform. This ongoing effort ensures that license agreements remain accurate and up to date. A widely used commercial tool for consortia worldwide, ConsortiaManager provides many benefits to Amigos members. These include improved data management, enhanced reporting capabilities, and expanded opportunities for members to access and engage with their subscription information.
ConsortiaManager provides an option of self-service desired by Amigos members users (for those who prefer it) an easy to understand overview along with increased visibility and control of their information and subscriptions. With one log in, Amigos member who choose to use their ConsortiaManager account will have access to:
- View current subscriptions through Amigos, when they’re due, payment history, and savings over list price
- Log IP address changes that will notify the publishers/vendors directly
- View and update FTE and subscription renewal contacts
For an improved user experience, Amigos members can access ConsortiaManager with their given login. Accounts were set up by Amigos and login information was communicated to appropriate members via email.
Member may choose to not use their ConsortiaManager login and will still have the option to reply to renewal emails and work with Amigos to have their subscriptions renewed that way.
