Skilltype's Central Index, featuring an ever-expanding collection of training resources, events, and organizations, has surpassed 11,000 items. The revamped search tool is specifically designed to align with the sophisticated needs of information professionals, ensuring they can navigate the growing and complex index with ease and precision.

The most significant enhancement to the search tool is the integration of advanced filtering and faceting capabilities. The process of identifying the most relevant training resources and events has been streamlined by incorporating facets for the Skilltype skills and products vocabulary. This targeted approach is designed to assist in developing the skills necessary for one’s current role and adapting to the evolving landscape of the industry.

Users can easily explore the full range of topics on feed pages, each one richly populated with targeted content to enhance their learning and development experience.

Skilltype is a participating vendor in the Amigos Discount Direct program, allowing libraries to subscribe to the platform at a negotiated discount. This special pricing offer builds on the current project between Amigos and Skilltype providing access to a pilot group of research libraries to begin deploying a data-driven approach to organizational development.
