Introduction to MarcEdit
Do you want to do more with your MARC records? Are you looking for an easy way to add or delete fields, split a batch of records into several groups, or extract particular fields to create a report? This class will walk you through how to do all of these tasks and more, starting with the basics of how to download and install the free MarcEdit software.

- Learn how to download and install the MarcEdit software
- Understand MarcEdit's batch-editing capabilities
- Determine ways MarcEdit can be useful in your daily library work

Any staff involved with cataloging or metadata
Prerequisites:
None
Homework Expectations and Completion Requirements:
- Course requirements: attend live online sessions or view recordings; complete one homework assignment.
- It is designed for individual participation; each individual must register.
