Know & Go: Today's Library: How to Increase the Safety and Security of Your Community Hub
From budget-friendly fixes that anyone can tackle to more advanced upgrades such as access controls, cameras and realignment of service points, the range possible modifications include something for every kind of library and skill level. Real-world examples from a nationally recognized expert library architect, library safety staff, and library directors across multiple districts will be shared, including lessons learned and approaches to overcome difficult safety challenges.

At the end of this workshops participants will be able to do the following:
- Learn key procedural changes and building modifications
- Implement changes and modifications to improve safety of your library building and space
- Access to a white paper that compiles years of research and tips into an easy to digest 3-page manual
