Basic SQL
An introduction to the basics of Structured Query Language including terminology, design, working with databases, and working with the PHP scripting language.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand terminology and relational (linked) databases (tables)
- Design a small database and write SQL statements
- Demonstrate ability to add/delete data from database
- Understand how PHP works with MySQL

Homework Expectations and Completion Requirements:
- In-class exercises will be provided in each class, to be completed before the next meeting. Assignments build on previous assignments, so each one must be completed. In addition, a final assignment must be completed.
- It is designed for individual participation; each individual must register.
Technical Requirements:
- PuTTY (or another SSH client) installed - https://www.putty.org/
