Identifying 19th Century Photographs

This course will introduce students to common 19th century photograph types and give keys to identifying them.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify tintypes, daguerreotypes, albumen prints, cyanotypes, and collodion prints
  • Explain how these types of photographs were made

Target Audience
Anyone with interest in photographs
