Makerspaces in the Library: How to plan for success!
We will also be talking about what it means to be innovative and interdisciplinary with your library's programming. Library services should be reevaluated on a regular basis and interpreted liberally with planning your makerspace.
Learning Objectives:,
- Define what is a makerspace.
- What resources are available, and how to utilize them.
- Learn how to reach out to stakeholders in your institution, and communities, to help promote makerspace services.
- How to make sure your makerspace evolves and doesn't become stagnant.
Target Audience:
Teachers and librarians in the beginning stages of planning their makerspace.
