Older Adults in the Library

Registration is closed for this event
According to the Pew Research Center, "70% of those ages 50 and older say closing the library would have a major impact." Older adults are often a driving force behind support and participation with the public library; as a result, librarians often design their programs and services with older adults in mind.

In this course, we will identify what older adults want from their local library. We will compile a list of program and resources for older adults. Finally, we will discuss possible challenges inherent in serving older adults.
