Libraries exist in a world of constant change, but most people struggle with change. This course surveys the drivers of change in libraries and provides managers with strategies to propose changes in the organization, anticipate potential pitfalls and staff concerns, and ultimately engage staff in adapting to new directions.
This introduction to teaching information literacy (IL) defines information literacy as a concept, introduces the ACRL Framework and other IL standards, and reviews teaching methods.
