In this four-hour course, we will identify key barriers to a library's usability. We will also discuss possible solutions for improving the layout and signage of a library, and optimizing its usability. Finally, we will outline how to conduct a usability test in your library.
The next course in the Library Management for Beginners series: Everyday Negotiations is scheduled for October 20. This two-hour class will prepare managers and leaders to maneuver a variety of situations such as obtaining buy-in, defending library resources and services, and resolving conflicts by utilizing a variety of negotiating techniques; while alleviating some of the anxiety associated with the word "negotiating."
