Amigos Community Conversations is a new initiative to provide a safe space for members to engage in discussions about the topics and trends evolving in libraries today. Continuing Education Services trainers and special guests will facilitate each online conversation around a specific theme. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from each other and connect through meaningful dialogue.
This workshop will provide librarians in school, public, and academic settings with a greater understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as strategies for communicating more effectively with such patrons.
