The Encoded Archival Description (EAD) is an internationally recognized XML-based standard for encoding archival finding aids. This workshop will provide a solid introduction to EAD3, the current version of the standard.

This course will introduce you the key concepts and tools necessary in reference and information services. You will study and discuss approaches to reference and information services and explore and analyze real-world reference issues as they pertain to resource selection, user privacy and confidentiality.
