While book clubs are certainly not new to libraries, it's important to keep up to date with their evolution as libraries themselves continue to evolve! This course will identify some of the traditional, creative and emerging types of book clubs, discuss ways to ramp up your current book clubs, identify tools to promote them, and explore recent trends in book clubs.
Who doesn't love a good game night? Although we may not always think of them this way, games are a form of storytelling, just in a different format! Libraries and librarians can provide patrons with stories and information through games in a variety of ways. From the theme to mission to marketing, let’s look at planning and hosting a successful game night in your library.
