Over the summer we continued to work on the Amigos eShelf℠ service, and now it is ready. Early Release libraries will start using it in August, with availability to other libraries in the fall.
A few weeks ago, we put out a call for libraries interested in being part of our Amigos eShelf℠ Service Early Release Program. This program will allow libraries to use the service with their patrons and pay only for the e-books they purchase during the program. In return, they will continue to help us test and provide us with valuable feedback. We are finalizing details with the Early Release Program libraries, and anticipate they will begin using the service within a couple of weeks.
