Amigos Seeks 2013 Fellowship Applicants

Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Award.

The Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Award Program supports library innovation, development, and research. Through a competitive selection process, up to $10,000 is available annually to Amigos member libraries and their staffs to fund projects that stress innovation, cooperation, leadership, and development of libraries and librarians.

Project proposals may be submitted by an Amigos member library or an individual librarian working in an Amigos member library. Final applications for the 2013 Amigos Fellowship and Opportunity Award are due March 1, 2013. Amigos strongly encourages applicants to submit proposals for preliminary review. The deadline for submitting a draft for preliminary review is January 20, 2013.

Start the application process now by reviewing the guidelines and submitting your intent to apply. You will then receive a user name and password to access the full application packet.

Register now to join Amigos staff online January 7, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. CST to learn about the award program, how you or your library can apply for funding, and what projects may qualify. Also, get tips on writing a successful proposal and ask questions about the process.
