Amigos to Host OCLC "Big Data" Online Session December 10

Amigos will be hosting an online session in OCLC's Collective Insight Series on December 10 from 1-3 p.m. CST. Eric Forte, Member Services Consultant for OCLC, will present the session "Driven by Shared Data," which focuses on the types of Big Data available to libraries. Big Data is being used by libraries to weed and store materials jointly, inform local collection development, demonstrate the value of the library to the community at large, and to evaluate services. Eric's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Amigos' librarians.
