Smaller Institutions Encouraged to Apply for NEH Preservation Assistance Grants
The Division of Preservation and Access of the National Endowment for the Humanities has posted guidelines for this year's Preservation Assistance Grants (PAGs) for Smaller Institutions to its website.
PAGs are available to any small institution with a significant humanities collection. This year, NEH is extending "special encouragements" for applications from presidentially designated institutions: Hispanic-serving institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities, and Native American tribes.
2014 guidelines for PAGs for Smaller Institutions are available on the NEH website. The website also features an article and interactive map showing the distribution of PAG awards across the country
The deadline for applying for a 2014 PAG is May 1.
For assistance in applying for a PAG, visit the NEH website or contact Elizabeth Klein at Amigos, klein@amigos.org or 800-843-8482, ext.2844.
