KCPL Wins Public History Award

The Kansas City Public Library - an Amigos member - website "Civil War on the Western Border", developed in collaboration with VTLS Inc., won the 2014 Award for Excellence in Public History from the Society of Civil War Historians. The $5,000 award recognizes the website as an outstanding public history project that improves public awareness and understanding of the Civil War era.
