TAMU Map & GIS Library to receive Esri award

The Map & GIS Library at the Texas A&M University Libraries – an Amigos member – was selected by Esri, the preeminent GIS (geographic information system) software producer, to receive its Special Achievement in GIS Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions in GIS to the global community. The award will be presented during the 2014 Esri International User Conference, July 14-18 in San Diego, CA. Read the library’s news release.
