“Leveraging Social Media toward Success of Library Outreach” is scheduled for December 1 from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CST. Attend this informative session presented by Consulting and Education Services Manager Arta Kabashi to learn how social media can be used to reach out to your patrons. This session will explore in detail both successful and unsuccessful methods of using such media and discuss best practices for engagement with these tools. It will also cover the importance of having a streamlined social media marketing strategy, and teach attendees how to construct such a strategy for their institution. Whether you are a public, academic, or school librarian, this session will be useful in understanding how to use technology and social media to your advantage in reaching out to your users and putting together library programs that benefit your patrons.
