BioOne Transitions to Single Collection

BioOne Complete, the single collection for new subscribers, is comprised of all titles in the collection. 75% of BioOne subscribers now opt to access to the entire aggregation, and while long-time supporters may continue renewing the single collection, we encourage BioOne.1 subscribers to consider the cost-effective upgrade for an additional 88 titles with a 15% discount off the cost of the entire collection.

News & Highlights

• Adopt-a-Species Giveaway – If you are attending any designated conference during the remainder of 2015 (calendar on BioOne’s website), be sure to visit the BioOne booth and enter for a chance to win a species adoption in your name. Winners can choose from one of six threatened and endangered species to protect: sea otters, clouded leopards, pygmy elephants, red pandas, and meerkats.
• Altmetric Feature – The BioOne platform now includes article-level metrics, which gives researchers insight into the article's digital impact and reach. Look for the score inside the blue "donut" to see what attention the article has received via social media. Hover over the donut to view a specific count, or click through to get higher level statistics.
• Search Widget Feature – Add a BioOne search feature to your LibGuides, blog, or Learning Management System (LMS).
• Librarian Resources – BioOne has training materials and promotional resources available on its website, including a recently updated Introductory Guide for Librarians as well as video tutorials to watch.
