UNT's Belden is First Librarian to Head Texas Association of Museums

Dreanna Belden, Assistant Dean for External Relations at the University of North Texas Libraries, an Amigos member, is the first librarian to serve as president of the Texas Association of Museums. Belden's term began last March and runs through February 2017. She palns on growing the association's membership base and making the association more financially sustainable. In 2011, Belden became the first librarian elected to the association's council, its volunteer managing board. She also served as the association's vice president for development.
