KLA/MLA Kicks Off Busy Fall Conference Season for Amigos

Amigos staff will be participating in a number of conferences around the region this fall.

Kansas/Missouri
Amigos will be on hand September 30 through October 2 at the joint conference of the Kansas Library Association and Missouri Library Association at the Kansas City Convention Center, Kansas City, MO. Attendees are encouraged to stop by Booth 34 in the exhibit hall to visit with Amigos staff. On October 2 at 2:00 p.m., Amigos eShel℠ Service Manager Christine Peterson will present "Library-Created eBook Platforms: an Update." Consult the conference program for location.

Arkansas
Amigos will be in Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock October 4-6 for the Arkansas Library Association's annual conference. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Amigos booth in the exhibit hall. Consult the conference program for exhibit hours and booth location. On October 5 at 12:00 p.m., Amigos eShel℠ Service Manager Christine Peterson will present "Library-Created eBook Platforms: an Update." Consult the conference program for location.

Nebraska
Amigos will participate in the Nebraska Library Association/Nebraska School Librarians Association joint conference October 14-16 in Lincoln. Amigos Metadata and Digitization Specialist Bill Walker will present "Bibliographic Futures: What Next for Our Metadata?" Consult the conference program for date, time, and location.

New Mexico
Amigos will participate in the New Mexico Library Association's annual conference, October 21-23 at the Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid North Hotel. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Amigos booth in the exhibit hall. Consult the conference program for exhibit hours and booth location. On October 22 at 3:30 p.m., Amigos eShel℠ Service Manager Christine Peterson will present "Library-Created eBook Platforms: an Update." Amigos Metadata and Digitization Specialist Bill Walker will present "Cataloging with RDA" October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On October 22, Bill will present "BibFrame: The Future of Cataloging?" at 2:50 p.m. Consult the conference program for locations.
