Does Your Library Struggle to make local indie authors’ books available to patrons?
Amigos has recently partnered with BiblioBoard Library to offer their community engagement tools to members at a discounted rate through December 15, 2016! With the recent push from American Library Association (ALA) to have "Libraries Transform," the future of libraries is being tied to community engagement and empowering your patrons. BiblioBoard offers just that!
BiblioBoard Library is the digital community engagement platform for libraries. They have an unlimited, multi-user digital mobile library platform that is available to library patrons in the US and worldwide and is currently being used by over 3,000 libraries.
The SELF-e program partners BiblioBoard with Library Journal to give local authors a way to make their self-published books available in their library. Authors also have the option to have their book reviewed by Library Journal with the potential of being made available to all BiblioBoard customers worldwide! You receive a branded submission page so your authors can upload and seven modules of content: the state specific module with submissions from authors in your state, and six Library Journal curated modules of the best of the best submissions from authors all across the country. Pressbooks service is also part of the offer. With this tool, authors can write, design, and own fully formatted eBooks files to publish as they wish; all free of charge through the library.
