Alexander Street Press Launches Social Work Online
Alexander Street Press (ASP) recently launched Social Work Online. This unique collection, the first of its kind, is designed for the study of social work.
The 100 hours of video are EXCLUSIVE to ASP and were produced to address the essential concepts students will employ in their everyday work as practitioners. The documentaries offer real, complex, and deeply personal experiences that are best understood through observation. The collection includes the following and more:
Pedagogical videos:
- Overcoming Personal Biases in Social Work (Microtraining Associates, 2016)
- Socio-Racial Roundtable: The Ecology of Negative Imagery, Gender Roles and Racism (Microtraining Associates, 2015)
