Alexander Street Press Launches Three New Products

    Volumes I and II of the Twentieth Century Religious Thought: Judaism databases were selected as Library Journal’s Best Databases of 2016. Read about it here.

    Now there is a third volume in their Twentieth Century Religious Thought Judaism series. The new volume is a gathering of the most important works and primary sources for the study of Judaism, including voices from regions around the world targeting the specific needs of scholars and students of Judaism and other religions, while broadening the value of the complete Twentieth Century Religious Thought Library brings to inter-religious studies.
  • Counseling and Therapy in Video Vol. V: The Symptom Media Collection
    This collection of mental health training films is guided by the DSM-5® and ICD-10 and incorporates the symptoms in short vignettes featuring professional actors. Over 400 films are included, all from 2012 to the present. The films range from 30 seconds to 15 minutes in length, and can be integrated into training courses, lectures, used as homework assignments, or for in-class discussion.
  • Social Work Online
    The 100 hours of video are completely exclusive to Alexander Street and were produced to address the essential concepts students will employ in their everyday work as practitioners while the documentaries offer real, complex, and deeply personal experiences that are best understood through observation.
