ALA Publishing Announces RDA Print Versions, Toolkit Pricing Offer

The Publishing Department of the American Library Association (ALA) has announced prices for full-text, loose-leaf print versions of Resource Description and Access (RDA) Instructions and RDA: Element Set View.

  • RDA: Element Set View, $125.00

RDA is the proposed new standard for resource description and access designed for the digital world. Built on the foundations established by AACR2, RDA will provide a comprehensive set of guidelines and instructions on resource description and access covering all types of content and media.

In addition to the print items in English, the publishers will distribute printed translations to supplement those offered in the RDA Toolkit online. Print translation pricing and availability will be announced closer to the June RDA Toolkit launch date.

Additionally, ALA Publishing has released a new RDA Toolkit pricing special. RDA is also making available a double-user offer for those who subscribe at any site license level to the RDA Toolkit before August 31, 2011.
