This course, geared towards library and technical staff new to digital audio, will help attendees identify common analog carriers and recognize potential avenues of deterioration, identify possible risks in playing carriers, define properties of analog sound, outline how analog sound is converted to digital audio, discuss metadata requirements for digitized audio, and so much more.
