Copyright 101: Helping Patrons Understand Copyright

Whether it is a student wanting to make copies, an instructor wanting to show a film in class, or a small business owner wanting to use content for marketing materials, librarians are presented with a myriad of copyright-related dilemmas. To help with those issues, this two-part course will share the history of American copyright law, discuss how it effects librarianship, and explore solutions to common copyright-related dilemmas.
