Updates released for SAGE Publishing’s LEAN Library

LEAN Library is a powerful tool that seamlessly delivers library resources, services, and branding into the patrons' workflows, wherever they are. Created by librarians for librarians, our browser plug-in extends your services to solve access issues and provide users with content as and when they need it, all while protecting their privacy. LEAN Library brings the library's services to its patrons through:

• Library Access, which simplifies and streamlines access to all subscribed e-resources for users researching off-campus and outside of the library's website
• Library Assist, which promotes the library’s value via a branded presence in the users' browser and enables delivery of targeted message directly into their workflow to extend your voice and help them overcome frustrations
• Library Alternatives, which provides alternative, legal routes to discover full-text articles and eBooks when patrons hit barriers and paywalls through your library, open access, and your ILL/DDS

Some exciting recent updates:

• Statistics per assist message: With this release, we start recording the performance of each assist message, and make the click and view statistics individually available to give you a better view of what your patrons are seeing.
• With our new Highlight & Search feature, your users can simply highlight any text on a web-page, right-click and select from up to 5 search engines you've set up for them.
