OCLC adds option for additional lenders to WorldCat Resource Sharing

A new workform feature in OCLC’s WorldCat Resource Sharing service allows ILL staff to enter up to 10 additional library symbols into the workform. After the request is submitted, these additional 10 symbols will be stored in the Locations field of the ILL request. If the request returns Unfilled, the borrower has ready access to additional lenders by looking in the Locations field of the Unfilled request.

The additional 10 symbols must be entered manually. Custom Holdings does not automatically populate the additional symbols.
