New Know & Go! Exhibits as DEI Outreach and Opportunities for Collaboration at an Academic Library

Despite a year of upheaval, the archivist at one institution was able to utilize existing relationships, cultivate new ones, and bring awareness to important, politically relevant stories and collections. This talk will explore how the University Archivist at Mississippi State University Special Collections developed relationships with organizations on campus focused on DEI work, increasing collaboration between the units, and the University Archivist curating exhibits on Hispanic heritage in Mississippi, Black student activism on campus, LGBTQ+ student groups, and unity.
