Library Support and Services for First-Generation College Students

According to the US Department of Education, one-third of students pursing higher education are the first in their family to attend college. These students are collectively called first-generation college students. Yet, only 24 percent of first generation students graduate with a bachelor's degree compared to 68 percent of students whose parents are college graduates.
