Join us June 15th to learn about Health Literacy for Libraries

Health Literacy is the ability to obtain, process and to understand basic health information and services. These skills include locating health services, understand drug labels and following treatment instructions. Libraries are a natural conduit for working to improve the health literacy of their communities. Attendees to this workshop will learn the facets of personal health literacy and organizational health literacy, the types of library resources available and reference support for health literacy and how to develop library programs for "Healthy People 2030".
