Management Analyst -- Irving Public Library -- Irving, TX

Irving Public Library is seeking a Management Analyst. Primary duties include compiling and analyzing various statistical measures related to library collections and programs to ensure effective selection, arrangement, and presentation of library materials; identifying and developing organizational performance measures and benchmarks; performing research and making reference recommendations; working extensively with library databases and composing correspondence and a variety of documents and reports. Duties also include assisting with staff training; providing assistance to patrons online and in person; and providing backup coverage for other Library employees as needed.

A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in public or business administration or a related field and two years of library experience are required. Must have a high lvel of proficiency in MS Word and Excel and the ability to research, compile and summarize a variety of informational and statistical data into comprehensive reports. PAY GRADE GG20 / FULL PAY RANGE $4,958 – $6,986 PER MONTH ($59,496 – $83,832 ANNUALLY)
