We still have openings for speakers for our February 2012 online conference on the laws, regulations, and policies that guide, and sometimes frustrate, our implementation of technologies. During the recent Amigos Member Conference, attendees were asked to visit our Virtual Vendor Fair as well as complete our conference evaluation. All who completed these tasks were entered into a random drawing for Amazon gift certificates and an Apple iPad. Thank you to all who participated in these events and congratulations to our winners!
The 2011 Amigos Member Conference is in the books, and judging by the comments received from attendees it appears to have been another big success. 2011 marked the second year Amigos conducted its annual conference as an online event, and in their evaluations many attendees commented that the online format made it possible for them to participate when they could not have otherwise.
