Amigos members can receive discounts on titles from Adam Matthew, a scholarly publishing company that produces an extensive range of online primary document resources for the humanities and social sciences. Depending upon Carnegie classification, libraries can save between 10% and 75% off the list price on these collections.
Amigos has recently partnered with EBL-Ebook Library, a ProQuest business. From March 3 through April 16, new customers will receive a significant discount on EBL ebooks. Both hosting and platform fees will be waived for the first year of service to any new customers who participate in this limited time offer.
Wearable technology is shaping up to be one of the predominant trends of the year. According to The National, US-based consultancy Deloitte predicts sales of "wearables" will reach 10 million units this year, generating around $3 billion in the US alone.
