The Trans-Amigos Express (TAE)/TExpress courier service is about to begin a new interlibrary loan connection to the Kansas Library Express. A one-hour online webinar was conducted Wednesday, February 5, to provide information to interlibrary loan staff and answer questions about the connection.
In March 2014, OCLC will release WorldCat Discovery Services, a new suite of cloud-based applications that brings FirstSearch® and WorldCat® Local services together, making it possible for more than 18,000 FirstSearch libraries to offer a richer discovery experience for users.
BiblioBoard, the flagship product of BiblioLabs, LLC, of Charleston SC, made its debut in March 2013 as the culmination of efforts by its creators to bridge what they saw as a growing gap between the user experiences offered by libraries and such companies as Amazon and Apple.
