Since the emergence of easily accessible dynamic online mapping tools, there has been a drastic increase in geographic interest and awareness. 80 percent of digital data available to us as information users have a geographic component. Geographic Information System (GIS) technology is widely used in research, teaching and learning to communicate information in a map format.
In preparation for the upcoming elections, Amigos is testing email addresses to ensure that voting materials will be properly received. A test message was recently sent to the email address on file for each member’s Voting Representative. If you are the Voting Representative for your organization and did not receive a test email, please ask your director or dean to send your name and contact information including an email address to Trisha Mooney, mooney@amigos.org, no later than March 30, 2022.
